The Generalštab Museum stands as a unifying thread across all generations, irrespective of age, symbolically encapsulating centuries of a nation’s struggle for freedom. It serves as a bridge, linking diverse segments of Serbian society. The very structure itself emerged, an emblem of triumph over fascism, while the project’s essence strives to mend the generational divide, bringing together those marked by world wars and the contemporary, forward-looking youth. Even in modern times, a rift exists among the younger populace, dividing them into those inclined toward specific political ideologies and others who remain entirely apolitical. The overarching goal is to cultivate interaction and facilitate a profound connection with the building’s historical and cultural tapestry by actively engaging with its story.
